Description
Marked by a highly distinctive glacial knoll, rising abruptly several hundred feet in elevation, formed during the last Ice Age by a mile thick glacier. Elizabeth Brook Knoll and Horse Meadows Knoll site at the southern ede of the “High Ridge”, a 12-square mile area rich in wildlife habitats, native plants and important sources of drinking water. The summit of the knoll provides an impressive scenic view of the property and vicinity.

Muller/Eastern Greenway North/Horse Meadows Knoll

Description
This set of trails offers a loop on Muller that can be extended. For an even longer walk, take the connection to the Horse Meadows Knoll by passing through Eastern Greenway North. This option greatly expands the possibilities and takes you into a variety of habitats with a vernal pool, the Horse Meadows Reservoir and the knoll – a distinct geological feature formed during the last Ice Age. Along the reservoir edge, there are rocky outcroppings where varied bird species can be spotted. Evidence of recent beaver activity can be seen along the eastern shore of the reservoir.
