Description

From Corn Road, the main trail climbs alongside a lovely stream with several crossings, one over a scenic dam, before reaching upland habitat at the junction with the Laurel Road trail. From this point on there is a network of trails in the Northwoods/Levison area off Harvard Road. These trails connect to the Harvard Road and Ledgewood Circle trailheads.

The Zink Sawmill area opposite the the Corn Road trailhead includes a connecting path to Sugar Road next to the bridge over I-495.

This is town-owned land and was once the location of a sawmill owned by the Zink family, remnants showcase the industrial activity visible from the trail connecting to sugar road. The properties are also sprinkled with glacial erratics throughout the forested areas.

Primary: Corn Road. 1 or 2 cars on the shoulder.

Description

The East Bare Hill Land is a scenic property with a gentle brook running through it. The land connects to the Bolton Loop Trail when you cross onto the Zink Northwoods property. This large parcel provides many options for longer hikes in Bolton. Look for the old sawmill dam as you follow the trail that runs along the brook.
