Shaker Spring House
Description
This trail travels to the Shaker Spring House and continues through wetlands and woods. The Shaker Spring House and water system were built in 1855 after a drought caused the supply of well water to fail. The Shakers laid an aqueduct about a mile long from the spring to a reservoir in Shaker Village. The Shaker Spring House is located off a spur on the southeast portion of the loop trail.

Black Pond/Vesenka/Smith (Littleton)
Description
The trail follows along a stone wall through the woods, crosses a seasonal brook and continues along a ridge. Evidence of old limestone mining holes can be seen on both sides of the trail. Turning west through a stone wall, the trail drops to a brook crossing and continues north to Black Pond. The main trail crosses the Smith Land in Littleton, where you can continue across Whitcomb Avenue to the Beaver Brook Marsh.
