Join HCT’s grant writer, Kerry Maxwell, on a walk through Pin Hill, crossing into the newly acquired and protected, Farwell Quarry. Learn about the land’s unique natural characteristics and history, both geological and as a once working quarry.
After the walk, we will enjoy some food and beverages at the home of Piali De.
Key Details:
- When: Saturday, June 27, 2026 (TIME TBD)
- Parking: If there is no room at the turn out area, try parking in the soccer field lot, 55 Depot Rd.
- Where: Meet at the turn out near 42 Depot Rd. (Across from the transfer station)
- What to wear: Dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy footwear or good walking shoes will work, and apply bug spray.
