HCT Annual Meeting with guest panel from Commonwealth Fusion Systems

Fusion energy is on the path to bring abundant, carbon-free power to the world. What does that mean for our community, the region, and our planet?

The Harvard Conservation Trust (HCT) invites you to our 2025 Annual Meeting, featuring a special guest panel from Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) — the world’s leading private nuclear fusion company. The company’s marquee fusion project, SPARC®, located in Devens, is paving the way for limitless carbon-free energy.

Join us for an engaging, moderated discussion on how next-generation energy innovation can align with HCT’s mission to protect open space and strengthen community resilience, including:

  • Fusion’s role in energy transition
  • SPARC in the community – water and land use impacts
  • Ensuring long-term safety and sustainability
