This trail has a hard-packed surface, which eases travel for strollers and wheelchairs. It’s a flat path through lovely woods. For a longer walk, pass through the Stone Land onto the Maxant property. While this section is unmaintained and poorly marked, there are beautiful views of Bowers Brook and the old mill pond.
A recreation trail beginning near 71 Lancaster County Road provides a connection to conservation areas south of Route 2.
