The Harvard Conservation Trust continues to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Join us for an enchanting evening of stargazing on May 18 with Professor Chuck Agosta! We will turn our eyes and telescopes toward the moon, planets, stars, solar system, and other objects in the night sky. Professor Agosta teaches physics and astronomy at Clark University in Worcester, MA, and will guide us in exploring the solar system from the pastoral Williams Land on Stow Road. HCT 50th Anniversary Cider Hike Accompany Harvard Conservation Trust’s biologist and naturalist, Bob Douglas, on a family-friendly winter hike. Join Harvard Conservation Trust’s biologist and naturalist, Bob Douglas, for a family-friendly trail hike as we continue to celebrate HCT’s 50th Anniversary.  Beginning and ending at Carlson’s Orchard, we will stroll through an avenue of peach and apple trees, travel woodland paths over small bridges, and walk through wildlife meadows.  Bob will talk about winter woodland sights on the trail, including an active beaver pond, with its lodge and dam.  The hike is less than a mile and takes about an hour. Destination:Nature Juried Art Show

Harvard Conservation Trust is partnering with Fivesparks to celebrate art and nature with the Destination:Nature Juried Art Show.  Regional artists are invited to submit works inspired by Harvard’s conservation land.   Artists – both those who create in plein air environments as well as studio artists and all artists who are inspired by nature are encouraged to participate.
