HCT High School Internship Application
Love nature and want to protect the environment? Apply to the Harvard Conservation Trust to be a high school intern! This is your chance to get hands-on experience, make a real impact in your community, and help protect the natural world around you. Whether you’re into science, hiking and the outdoors, event planning, or even social media, there are plenty of opportunities.
Choose from 20- or 40-hour internships each semester. Work on projects that matter to ensure our natural ecosystems and wildlife thrive:
- Clear and mark new trails
- Make trails safe for people and wildlife
- Learn to ID and remove invasive plants that harm biodiversity
- Plant new plants that increase resources for wildlife
- Staff HCT events
- Create posts and other content to grow HCT’s social media presence

The Harvard Conservation Trust is a non-profit dedicated to conserving open spaces, forests, and wildlife through five committees: Stewardship, Land Protection, Outreach, Development, and Finance.
